BOUDOIR, LIFESTYLE, & INTIMATE MOMENTS PHOTOGRAPHERI live in Mid-Michigan on the river with my husband, two dogs, and two black cats. When I'm not capturing people's special moments, I love to read, hike, travel, and spend time with the important people in my life.
Growing up I was always in my grandmother's studio having tea parties, painting and being her little model. Wanting to be like my grandmother at a young age, I had a disposable camera in my hands at all times. I would pose not only my family members, but my stuffed animals and dolls.
behind the name
The name North Light Photography comes from my grandmother's art and photography studio, the North Light Studio. She had her studio built facing north with skylights perfect for lighting any time of the day. After my grandmother passed away in 2021, I decided to heal by getting creative in the North Light Studio. It has been the best decision I have ever made!
